Become a volunteer income tax preparer at the Sacred Heart Church in Auburn Thursday afternoon, Friday morning and/or Saturday morning. Needed are volunteers who are familiar with basic individual income tax forms and are comfortable using tax software. In January, we provided the necessary training. Tax preparation is from February 1st through April 15th.
Volunteers work as a team with all completed returns being reviewed by a second trained volunteer.
If return preparation is not 'your thing', there are several other volunteer opportunities available. These include leadership and management, scheduling, greeters, 'techies' to help with networking.
