AARP Tax-Aide - Norway

During the tax filing season, a team of trained volunteers work together to interview, prepare and review tax returns for eligible taxpayers. Some volunteers greet taxpayers and get their tax documents in order, others are involved in return preparation using tax software, others quality review each return, others are technically savvy and make sure that computers and printers are working properly. We are looking for compassionate and friendly individuals to join our volunteer team. We'll provide the training and support to help you learn new skills, and you'll get a great feeling from helping others. A great volunteer opportunity which helps to make the winter go just a little bit faster, yet leaving you free to pursue other activities for the remainder of the year.

AARP Tax-Aide is a volunteer group that provides free federal and state of Maine income tax preparation and electronic filing to low to moderate income taxpayers as well as the elderly.
