Safe Voices has a few seats open for our next Volunteer Helpline Training which starts on January 23rd!
We are currently seeking local volunteers to help staff our 24-hour free and confidential helpline which covers callers from Franklin, Oxford, and Androscoggin Counties.
Volunteers work from their homes using their own phones, and generally cover the helpline for approximately 8-12 hours per month, based on their availability and the needs of our helpline coverage. Priority will be given to volunteers able to fill one or more of the following shifts: Mondays: 8a-12p / 8p-12a / 12a-8a Tuesdays: 4p-8p / 12a-8a Thursdays: 4p-8p / 8p-12a / 12a-8a Fridays: 4p-8p / 8p-12a Saturdays: all shifts Sundays: 8a-12p / 12a-8a
If you are available to help volunteer during one or more of these times, we encourage you to consider signing up for our training. All shifts have backup support from a supervising shift lead.
