Safe Voices is seeking a qualified and energetic individual for the Spring Semester 2017 to aid in the planning process of Spring Fundraisers, including but not limited to the annual 5k to End Domestic Violence held at Bates College June 3rd. The idea candidate would be availed thru at least June 5th.
In addition to assisting with the organization of fundraising events, we are looking for someone to assist with freshening up our marketing materials (flyers/brochures/tabling materials).
The ideal candidate should be outgoing, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and computer skills. Must have experience with excel. The position requires some general administrative work such as answering phones, filing, data entry, etc.
This is an UNPAID internship.
Requirements:
-18 years of age or older
-Possess strong computer skills
-Must have good written, oral, and communication skills
-Must be highly organized with an attention to detail
-Will be willing to learn new things and take on new tasks
-Must have a commitment to Safe Voices mission and values
-Must be able to work as a member of a team
-Must agree to agency confidentiality statement and pass background checks
